Morning factors that increase cortisol release (good):
- Getting outside and seeing sunlight (most important) within 30/60 minutes from waking
- Eating
- Socialising
- Movement/exercise
Day time:
- Yoga-nidra/non-sleep-deep-rest(NSDR)
- View afternoon light (sunset is optimal) – adjust eyes’ sensitivity
Nightime:
- Avoid light lol – dim lights, dark mode if need screens, wear those cool red glasses (I want some)
- Relax and do something chill and avoid the 4 things at the top that release cortisol (perhaps watch David Attenborough documentaries, read, or do yoga)
